A growing body of evidence points out at chronic kidney disease (CKD) as a major risk factor for severe COVID-19, increasing also the respective mortality risk. Preventive measures, rapid monitoring organ function and interventions capable of preventing multiorgan failures are of great importance to reduce adverse outcomes in COVID-19 patients with CKD. While efforts are underway to carry out indirect protection interventions and large-scale vaccination to achieve herd immunity in the general population, direct protection of patients with CKD through rapid vaccination trials are necessary since uraemia and immunosuppressive agents could have a negative impact on vaccination responses of CDK patients. More epidemiological data are needed for in-depth understanding of the course and outcome of COVID-19 in CKD patients, supporting clinical decision-making.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) dissemination occurred from December 2019 and quickly spread to all countries. Study was conducted by Questioner for countries health organizers to define their different aspect exposure and fight with COVID-19 including epidemiology, clinical aspects of the disease, case definitions, diagnosis laboratory confirmation, and referral of cases by the portal of entry, case management, and disease prevention in these countries. According to this opinion review, due to the low international flights and low domestic travel, the spread, and prevalence of COVID-19 was low and the return of the immigrants of these countries has caused the spread of COVID-19 among these countries. Experience, preparation, and impact of previous infections epidemic such as the Ebola virus epidemic would have beneficial, which have promoted certain reflexes among people that cause low dissemination in these countries.

Given the nature of heart disease and the importance of continuing heart surgery during the pandemic and its aftermath and in order to provide adequate safety for the surgical team and achieve the desired result for patients, as well as the optimal use of ICU beds, the medical team, blood, blood products, and personal protective equipment, it is essential to change the usual approach during the pandemic. There are still a lot of evidences and experiences needed to produce the perfect protocol. Some centers may have a special program for their centers during this period of epidemics that can be respected and performed. Generally, in pandemic conditions, the use of non-surgical approaches is preferred if similar outcomes can be obtained.
