Although one cannot doubt SeyyidQutb’s main object of his intellectual structurearrangement which is creating a cohesive Islamic government, his way of dealing, his main strategy, and the consequences of his ideas in history, culture, and politics of Muslim countries in the Middle East in the second half of the 20th century has been a controversial issue among the researchers. In the present article, the author intends to focus on Saeed Havvi,from Syria, who is one of the most prominent critics of SeyyidQutb’s internal discourse. He also studies the role of SeyyidQutb in the influential movement of Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and the whole Middle East to present a rarely seen picture of this significant scholar in his time and society.Regarding this, he firstly provides a report of SeyyidQutb’s most important aspects of life and opinions. Afterwards, he talks about the biography and ideas of Saeed Havvi who while shares the basics of SeyyidQutb’s opinions, doesn’t like his radical and pragmatic readings.

The list of a book resources is considered as a document of its validity and academic value. However, one of the data bases which is full of mistakes is the books and essays’ lists of resources. In this paper, the author is going to point out some of the inconsistencies and typos in a couple of published books’ list of resources. These mistakes include some typos in the book title, incorrect abridgement of the title, alteration and wrong spelling of the publisher, author, translator, and editor’s name, or the omission of the translator and editor’s name. The author is going to finish this paper by stating some solutions, and providing an example of edited bibliography as well as an example of a bibliography which exceeds in the standards.

The author of this article is going to criticize Getting to Know the History of Interpretation and Interpretersby Hussein AlaviMehr. Regarding this, he examines the book deficiencies, typos, editing errors, contradictions, incomplete quotes, and a lack of coherence between parts ofits structure.

The author of the following paper firstly intends to introduce and then to analyze the book in order to make the reader familiar with the topics of the Iranian theses which have focused on Iraq. He is also going to examine the issue of thesis in Iran

One thematic encyclopedia deals with all the issues which are kind of (compatibly, or implicitly) related to the subject. Therefore, it does not just take the words of a text into consideration, but goes beyond and provides a much broadercontext of information and resources. The purpose of setting such encyclopedias is to guide those who refer to it to all the Qur’anic verses related to each of topics and concepts, weather these concepts are derived from the specific terms or are a combination of words and themes of the Qur’anic Verses. In the present article, adopting a descriptive approach,the author intends to study four thematic encyclopedias of the Qur’an. These encyclopedias include: Tafsīl al-Āyāt by Jul Labum; Tabaqāt al-Āyāt by Khalil Sabry; Thematic Encyclopedia of the Qur’an by KāmrānFāni and BahāoddinKhorramshāhi; and Encyclopedia of the Qur’an by Hāshemi-e Rafsanjāni. As an introduction to the paper, she is firstly going to talk about the literal and technical meanings of encyclopedia, different kinds of encyclopedias of the Qur’an, the purpose of their setting, and the difference between thematic exegesis and thematic encyclopedia. Following this, in order to give a report of each one of these four encyclopedias, she provides a short biography of their authors, and then mentions the books’ features and defects along with some tips on how to use them.

The first volume of Nāmehāi-e Khāmūshān (The Silent Ones’ Letters), by Muhammad AfshinVafāie and ShahriārShāhinDezhi, was published by Sukhan Publication in 2011. The subject of this book is the letters written to IrajAfshār by some cultural famous scholars. In the following paper, the author is going to present a report of this book.

The author of the following paper is going to present a summary of three articles on Islamic civilization. These articles include the following ones: Islamic Civilization and the Legend of Political Failure by Andrew Christie Hess Civilization and State Formation in Islamic Context: Rereading of Ibn Khaldūn by Johann P. Arnason The Hierarchy of Knowledge in Islamic Civilization by Paul L. Heck.

While the manuscripts should be taken care of in the best way because of their being aged and precious, they must be available to the researchers to be researched about in various aspects. In addition, being edited and corrected, they should be printed to be accessible to all. Meanwhile, the most effective step on the way of their restoring is to introduce them in the form of lists. Thus, cataloging these manuscripts is a matter of importance. In this article, the author tries to introduce the Persian works such as books, essays, thesis, conferences, and interviews which were published with regard to the cataloging of the manuscripts.

According to certain manuscripts, Hazrat-e Masume library, located next to Hazrat-e Masume holy shrine,dates back several hundred years. The section of the manuscripts in the library has always been of great significance to both native and foreign researchers. The author of this article tries to provide a list of the available printed Hebraic books in Hazrat-e Masume library which belongs to the mid-19th century and thereafter.
