Deleuze (1925-1995) a poststructuralist and postmodernist philosopher has borrowed the notion of the rhizome from biology. As a symbol for unlimited growth through the multitude of its own transformations, rhizome is contrasted with a tree, as a linear and sequential, arborescent growths. Rhizomatic space with emphasis on becoming, nomadism, folding deteritorization, reteritorization and principles of connection and heterogeneity, multiplicity, asignfying rupture, cartography and decalcomania, decenteralization, anti- Dualism, anti-represetationalism presents troubles for the religious education especially in the domain of fundamentalist religious societies. Rhizomatic space challenges representation, hierarchical lines and discipline on which religious education is based. In fact, the present article involves an attempt to study problems and challenges of rhizomatic space for religious education processes.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of type of assessment (essay and multiple-choice) on student's approaches to studying and exam preparation strategies between students with high and low academic achievement. 332 students with high and low academic achievement (based on their GPA with the cut of point 17 from 20) majoring in psychology and educational management from Shahed and Arak Islamic Azad Universities participated at this study. They all completed the ASSIST (Approaches and Study Skills of Students) questionnaire and a researcher made questionnaire about their exam preparation strategies at the beginning and end of the academic term. Results of MANCOVA (pretest scores used as covariates) revealed that essay examinations encouraged students employ deep studying approaches and deep preparation strategies and multiple -choice examinations made a tendency toward surface studying approaches and surface exam preparation strategies. There was a statistically significant interaction between essay type of assessment and high academic achievement and lead students to study more deeply compare with other forms of the mentioned variables.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the performance of councils of education in providing suitable conditions for people’s supervision of educational programs which is examined through five questions. The population of this research is the members of education councils in provinces, cities and districts of education in years 1381-1382. Among them, 41 members from provinces of Kozestan, Mazanderan, Azarbayjan Shargy, Kordestan, Kerman and Isfahan and 313 members of councils of cities and districts of mentioned provinces were selected through simple random sampling. Furthermore, all related documents and approved issues in education councils of 29 provinces of the country in the two years were gathered to analyze. In this project, three instruments including check lists for content analysis, interviews and questionnaires were used. The result of the project says that in general, councils of education have had poor performance in providing the necessary conditions for people’s supervision of educational programs. These councils can use opportunities such as the existence of councils of parents and teachers in schools, the existence of representatives from people and governments in councils and the approved related law for increasing the supervision of people in education.

Due to the special conditions of public libraries, especially after their reorganization under the Board of Trustees of the Public Libraries (BTPL), and the necessity for re-organization of and re-planning for libraries and librarians, it is necessary for managers of the BTPL to identify and illustrate the present status of libraries and librarians to be able to proceed with their planning. Benefiting the opportunity provided by a short term course for librarians of four provinces of Khuzestan, Booshehr, Fars and Kohgiluye in which the present authors were involved, a survey based on the Job Description Index (JDI) was devised and administered to assess the degree of job satisfaction among the target librarians in terms of: supervision, co-workers, payments and promotion as well as general job satisfaction. Results of the study revealed that all librarians, despite their dissatisfaction in regards with some aspects, especially payments and promotion, were all satisfied with their job as librarians. Running an ANOVA test with repeated measures indicated existence of no significant difference among the mentioned variables, except for payments. However, running the post-hoc test of Tukey’s HSD revealed that the difference lies between Khuzestan librarians and their colleagues in other 3 provinces. The data collected revealed no significant difference among other groups of librarians. Due to other disorders observed in relation with status of librarians in terms of their distribution age-wise, while suggesting the decision makers to review the librarians’ payments and promotion schemes, it is suggested that decision makers plan and act in regard with recruit of younger librarians before the older librarians are retired, and allow some time for them to transfer their knowledge and methods of job administration and techniques to younger ones.
