    Arbaeen Ziyarat of Imam Hossein, which in the words of Imam Hasan Askari, is considered to be of Shia’s signs, has come to us in a credible and authentic document from Imam Sadiq. The study of parts of this Ziyaratnameh with a theological perspective clarifies that the ideological issues raised in this Ziyaratnameh can be expressed in three axes: The first axis of the signs of the Imam, including the family of Imamate, being legitimate, the owner of the prophets’ legatee, and having infallibility and supremacy, and knowledge, faith and courage; The second axis is the role of Imam involves guiding people and preserving divine religione; the third axis is the duty of the people towards the Imam, including Tavalli and Tabarri, believing in the certainty of the promise of God for the help of the Imam, and also believing in the occultation and return of the Imams. However, with further exploration, more concepts can be found that hope this way will be continued.

    The scholars have spoken a lot about the philosophy of uprising of the master of martyrs Aba ‘Abdillah al-Hussein, especially in contemporary times, and have expressed numerous goals for it. However, some of these goals are the personal inference of the scholars or their perception of the words of the Imams and some of them are also explicitly the words of the great ones. The Arbaeen’s pilgrimage is one of cases in which has explicitly mentioned the main and most fundamental philosophy and purpose of Imam Hossein’s uprising. In this special Ziyaratnameh, Imam Sadiq stated that the main purpose of the holy uprising of Seyyed al- Shohada was to save mankind from the ignorance bond and to free them from the perplexity of misguidance: This paper, by analyzing this part of Arbaeen’s Ziyaratnameh, concludes that:- The purpose of the uprising and martyrdom of Imam Hussein is to achieve the sacred goals that set forth in the Holy Qur’an as the way map of the Prophet and other great divine prophets;
    - The desirable result of the uprising of Imam Hussein is the entrance of all human beings into the field of reason and, ultimately, making all of them wise people;
    - Sacrifice of the best human beings of the day, i.e. Imam Hussein, was the only way of treating the ignorance illness and misleading people of that age, and sacrifice of blood has been very effective in fulfilling the sacred purpose and of course, the most important reason for this success is the pure love and kindness of the holy being of imam Hossein.

    Arbaeen Walking is one of the largest human gatherings in which the millions of pilgrims travel through long paths and walk for days and even weeks to do ziyarah of Imam Hossein. One of the aspects of this ceremony, which is worth investigating, is its impact on pilgrim’s self-training. Arbaeen Walking can help people to prepare themselves for self-training and purification of the soul throughout their lives through having time for thinking about themselves, cutting the attachment to this world, thinking about God, planning for practicing to have patience against difficulties, practicing to live without luxuries, practicing to live without sin and other items.

    The present research seeks to investigate the evidences that have been inferred from them in the form of a walking order for the pilgrimage of the infallible Imams, the saints of God and holy places. The results of the documentary and library research indicate that some of the narrations that express the virtues of the pilgrimage of Amirul Mo’menin and Aba-abdillah include narrations such as awarding of rewards for each step and some scholars have sought to derive from these narrations the practice of walking for the pilgrimage of these two Imams. And with the help of the other evidence, will spread it to the pilgrimage of other infallibles, descendants of the imams, saints of God, believers and even their graves. But it seems that these traditions and other narratives that express the virtues of the pilgrimage of innocents seek to encourage the friends of the household to the very pilgrimage itself, and the quality of pilgrimage is not considered in them, so such istihbab can not be resulted from absolute and general context of these narratives. Of course, some general texts, such as verses indicating the necessity of reverence to divine rituales and the need to express love to household, can be used to prove the supremacy of walking for the pilgrimage for the innocents. However, it is necessary to note that the special features of these two great imams (Amirul Mo’menin and Aba-abdillah), privileged walking for them from the pilgrimage of other innocent Imams.

    The presence of Ahl-al-Bayt of Imam Hossein on the 40th day of his martyrdom in Karbala is a matter of dispute; but at the same time, the pilgrimage of that Imam was ordered and emphasized in Arbaeen, and the Shiites, throughout history, have devoted much attention to it. Of course, there is a controversy about whether the Arbaeen ceremony is unique to Seyyed-al-Shohada, or that it can be held for other Ahl-al-Bayt, or other people, which it seems that holding it as shar’ei mostahab is only dedicated to Imam Hussein and it is also permissible for others. The aspects that can be considered for this dedication to Imam Hussein include: The statement, act, and verification of the infallible Imam on this pilgrimage, and veneration for his unique sacrifices and actions in preserving true Islam and spirituality in society, Maintaining the spirit of Confronting oppression and injustice in people and maintaining the prominence of the Ashura movement and not rendering it along with other mourning.

    Imam Hossein (pbuh), with the aim of reforming the Islamic Ummah, reviving rights, fighting oppression and corruption, confronting the distortions of religion and etc. launched the Karbala movement and asked everyone to help religion. Arbaeen march, which has been described globally as a major gathering with religious background in recent years, shows that the people, with the goal of helping Islam and adhering to the policy of the goals of the Hossein movement and to confront the enemies of religion, step on this path and represent the right-seeking and peaceful identity of the Ahl al-Bayt school. In this paper, some of the convergence effects of Arbaeen pilgrims with the school of Hossein bin Ali are investigated.

    The geographical route of the Ahlul-Bayt prisoners’ caravan from Kufa to Shaam is one of the historical issues related to the issue of Hosseini Arbaeen, in which there are disagreements among scholars, and each of them selected one of the three direct routes (through the desert of Sham), the middle (parallel to the Euphrates) and Soltani as the path to the prisoners’ caravan. In this article, referring to the existence of many shrines attributed to the head of Imam Hussein and other individuals of the Ahlul-Bayt, which existed in the sixth century AH in the cities located along the Sultani’s path, It is concluded that this path has been famous in the early hijri centuries as a possible path to the prisoners’ caravan of Ahl al-Bayt.

    Pilgrimage is one of the most basic religious teachings. In the Shiite traditions, the pilgrimage of holy places and the graves of the Divine Guardians and the Infallible is emphasized. Pilgrimage has a major role in personal and social education of humans. Individuals who maintain this behavior have higher levels of stability and, when in the face of conflicts, are more likely to be able to adapt to acceptedsocial behaviors. One of the most important educational effects of pilgrimage is the promotion of social culture and the teaching of how to be in the society and communicating with others. Altruism andkindness are other educational elements of pilgrimage. Through pilgrimage, the pilgrim gets acquainted with holy places, cultures and civilizations, and how to model them. He learns from their lives, their reverence and their greatness. The cultivation of collective spirit and controlling of social behaviors are other aspects of social education induced by pilgrimage.
