One of the classes of the project schedule is the Material Procurement Scheduling (MPS) problem, which is considered besides the material allocation to warehouse (MAW) problem recently. In the literature, the Simultaneous Solution of MPS-MAW is investigated by considering one warehouse and unlimited capacity of the warehouses most of the times. In this paper, we propose the propositional and mathematical model of the simultaneous MPS-MAW with multiple warehouses and the limited capacity at the whole of the horizon planning for each warehouse. The proposed model aims to obtain the best ordering point, selection of the best suppliers, the best activity start, and the fair material distribution to the warehouses as possible by the given objective function. The proposed model is NP-hard, so a metaheuristic namely simulated annealing is proposed to reach the acceptable but not optimal solutions in a short time. Also, to overcome the complexity of the model, the encoding of the decision variables have been done by adding the auxiliary variable. Comparing the solutions of the small problems with the exact methods shows the validation of the proposed SA. Also, the design of experiments shows the significance of the model and each SA parameters. Finally, by the optimum values of the SA parameters, the large problems have been solved at acceptable times.

As one manufacturing industry which has engaged in the textile industry and produced zippers, the painting process at zipped production has a number of problems, as on zipper sticks to each other, uneven paint, etc. In this discussion, the improvements that will be made are related to the painting process.  Quality Control Circle (QCC) method is applied to reflect the support of the continuous improvement program in the company. The painting process is the finishing process of a zipper that serves as a coating to be resistant to corrosion and enhance the zipper appearance. The results of the study, it is found the main problem in the zipper painting process, which are Abbeku or sticking. This is due to the factors, such as machinery, methods, and materials. Of the three factors, there is one of the biggest problem factors, namely the position of non-standard spray gun. The focus of the improvement that will be made is the modification of the spraygun holder so that the fix position does not change. The results after an improvement in the modification of the spray gun holder are Abbeku (sticking) loss on the painting production which is originally 23 lots. As a conclusion, it eliminates the biggest loss factor in the painting process, replaced the position of the spraygun that is not fixed.

The industry under study is a company in the field of making Speaker, Megaphone and Amplifier. In this study, the Thoshiba IS 350 GS 350 Ton machine has observed. Constraints such as when producing machine Speaker Parts produce high reject products up to 7% of the total monthly production. When operating the machine often experiences downtime due to damage to the engine. Damage causes high employee overtime due to having to pursue production targets and the costs to be incurred by the company can reach Rp. 3 billion per month. Evaluation is done by calculating Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and comparing with OEE before repairs. Furthermore, discussed the factors that influence the effectiveness of the Injection molding machine contained in the six big losses and other problems where the method of analysis with fishbone diagrams. After that, the discussion was conducted using the analysis of Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) to identify and analyze potential failures and their consequences. From the results of the observation, the main cause of damage to the Thoshiba IS 350 GS 350 Ton machine is the low Performance Rate with an average value of 63.5% in April 2018, this is caused by the value of Reduced Speed Losses that have the biggest contribution in six big losses with a loss of 86.9 hours which results in the Thoshiba IS 350 GS 350 Ton Machine not working optimally.

In 1932, the first leather manufacturing industry was established in Hamedan, Iran. The textile industry sets up in Iran about 3000 BC. Nowadays, both of aforementioned industries have appeared with a variety of technologies and facilities over the world. By current cluster study of Iranian Textile and Leather Industries (ITLI) the raw data have empirically come through of the decision-making techniques pertaining to main criteria and number of industries; rely on their nominal capacity. The initial resource of data used in present research gets back to the preliminary assessment of ITLI by both of Iranian industries organization and Iranian environment protection agency once before giving license to implement industries individually. SPSS and EXCEL 2013 software have used to process raw data. Using Vlse Kriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) resulted in two different kinds of classification for ITLI. The findings of input materials stream exploited energy and existing facilities in ITLI are introduced to identify the materials cycles, energy demand and machines, and devices employed in the subject of industrial ecology and industry 4.0, respectively.

The organization Performance management is an important component that directly affects the total performance of the organization and the competitive environment. Hence, manager(s) performance is one of the most important functional parts of an organization. Senior manager(s) decisions are one of the most important factors affecting the organization performance management. In this paper, organization performance management is evaluated using criteria derived from Balanced Scorecard. The purpose of this paper is to prioritize alternatives related to manager(s) performance in an organization using multi-criteria decision-making, i.e. PROMETHEE, ELECTRE, and TOPSIS and provide a model for it. Mean Maximum-Minimum Square Ranks method is proposed to combining the results obtained from applying multi-criteria decision-making methods. Also, roadmaps are presented for alternatives with higher priority for the organization. The proposed model provides the possibility of solving issues related to the organizational performance by analyzing various alternatives and criteria for organization manager(s). To evaluate the efficiency of the proposed approach, the model is implemented in a petrochemical company, which its final products are used to make fibers.

Quality control is an important thing that must be done by the company to minimize defective products. The company can analyze product defects by using the Six Sigma method, by formulating Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) that occurs. PT. XYZ as a large company that prints magazines often faces the problem of quality defects in its printouts, resulting in the cost losses due to production defects every year is not small, as a result of not being sold. The Six Sigma method is an approach method to help control the quality of production. This study conducts to determine the level of sigma from the current production process, the types of defects that are a priority to be addressed, and the causes of disability. From the results of the study, the sigma value of current production is 3.6 or DPMO of 15919.63613. The type of defect that occurs is blurred by 59%, does not register at 29% and paper cut by 12%. To achieve Six Sigma it is necessary to take corrective steps using the results of the analysis.

Spur gears are the most well-known kind of gears used in hybrid vehicle’s power transmission. They have straight teeth and are mounted on parallel shafts. In some cases, many spur gears are utilized without a moment's delay to make huge rigging decreases. In this paper how stress creates on a spur equip under various conditions and conditions and reenactments of a rigging system (two spur gears) is assessed by Ansys workbench. For this static, the structural and dynamic analysis modeling is utilized. A couple of spurs equip tooth in real life is by and large subjected to two sorts of cyclic stress: Contact stress and twisting stress including bowing fatigue. The two stresses may not accomplish their greatest esteems at a similar purpose of contact fatigue. These sorts of failure can be limited by analysis of the issue amid the outline organize and making appropriate tooth surface profile with legitimate assembling strategies.
