Three different conventional control strategies for extracting reference currents for shunt active power filters have been evaluated and their performance has been compared under various non linear loads.Comparison of the compensation ability of different control strategies based on THD and speed will be done and suggestions will be given for the selection of strategy to be used under different load. Simulation results using MATLAB have been included.

This article presented the effect of the daigonistic of the inverters five levels associates with the three-phase asynchronous squirrel-cage machines. That shows the faults of the switches for each inverter multi levels and their influence on the answers speed and torque.

In this paper a neural generalized predictive speed controller for double stator induction motor drives (DSIM) is presented. An efficient implementation of GPC using a radial basis function neural network as the plant’s nonlinear prediction model is presented to extend the capability of artificial neural network identification. The controller appeared to be robust in the face of totally unknown plant dynamics and external disturbances. Extensive simulation results are presented to validate the proposed technique. The controller is tested at different speeds trajectories and a very satisfactory performance has been achieved.

The purpose of this paper is to present the concept and the implementation of a fully automated and intelligent parkingsystem, based on prediction through probability algorithms. The work consists in a complete mechatronic structure conceived to findthe most suitable parking place for each customer and automatically place its car in the corresponding position. Both HMI and webbased user interaction was taken into consideration. An algorithm based on Markov models is implemented in order to interrogate thestatus of the parking system and to provide a probability based prediction to the customer in order to visualize the estimated number offree places over a period of the next 20 minutes.

Designing and producing gripper robots was one of remarkable issues in robotics and slippage of the grasped objects were one of its important challenges. Many useful approaches are discovered for slippage detection till now,and also many tactile sensors are produced for these purposes which monitor the slippage. Through this article, different approaches for slippage detection are studied and some of these sensors are investigated. Finally, a simple method for developing our last approach in our previous work is presented, and then this method is compromise with our previous work and also existing approaches.
