China’s rise is shaping up to be the most salient development of international politics and economics in the early 21st century ,and Beijing is increasingly searching for stable sources of energy to power its ballooning economy. This has meant that China’s relations with resource-rich Persian Gulf states have become more intensive even as Beijing has become more pragmatic in its approach to the region. Whereas once China viewed events in the Gulf region through the lens of its own revolutionary ideology, its relations with Middle Eastern nations are now driven more by energy concerns. Chinese state-owned oil companies are now aggressively bidding for contracts in the Gulf, and there is a clear Chinese presence in regional commerce.
China’s pragmatism has also meant an emphasis on relations with new partners in the region at the expense of older ties. After 2001, China saw Iran as an attractive partner, due to its geographical proximity and potential to supply large volumes of oil. As our major question, we try to evaluate the causes of increasing China`s presence in the Persian Gulf. A descriptive and analytical method has been selected and to present a documented paper, we have tried to study the primary sources.

With the rise of the Justice and Development’s party to power in 2002, Turkey has followed different and seldom paradoxical decisions and actions in internal and external affairs. This article aims at studying these altitudes based upon the leaders of Justice and Development’s party. Hence, the article decides to clarify mainly from which sources the strategic attitudes of Turkey have been inspired and how these sources determined today’s Turkish decisions. The hypothesis is based upon the fact that the Party follows to keep power and obtain its interests with an identitary flavor in internal and external policies. Hence, from the perspective of this article despite the effectiveness of different variables in producing such decisions, the role of the Party leaders grows more important with their enjoyment of interest-identity attitudes insofar as they endeavor to keep and enhance political power. Therefore, such attitudes have left fundamental impact on Turkish decisions in realms such as secularism, liberal economy and Neo-Ottomanism. In addition, they have proven to determine today’s Turkish politics specifically the developments occurring in the process of Islamic awakening and current crisis governing the region. This article enjoys the documentary analysis.

Middle East is one of the most important region in the world that affected by terrorism as a most important security threats. This article utilizes the theory of English School and intends to answer this question; “given the continuing terrorist crisis in Middle East, what is probable and desirable future trends can be to deal with terrorism in the international level? Because this scenario has some characteristics like as United Nations as a more serious leadership, commitment to human rights in the fight against terrorism, punish the perpetrators of the terrorism and promote equality and economic justice. The 1979 Iranian revolution and coming into power of a Islamic Shiite government in Iran brought Iran and Saudi Arabia into an embittered rivalry. The later developments like fall of the Saddam following US led invasion in 2003, the establishment of a Shiite government in Iraq and the Arab uprising in 2011 further confronted Iran and Saudi Arabia. These developments divided the countries of the Middle East region into two groups on the basis of religious ideology. The question raised by the paper is "whether the competition between Iran and Saudi Arabia had led the two into a cold war in the Middle East region? The underlying hypothesis is that the regional competition between Iran and Saudi Arabia and the efforts of the two for bringing an equilibrium and strategic balance in the region has practically put both the countries in a rivalry situation and cold war. The paper uses descriptive-analytical framework to substantiate the hypothesis. The finding of the study shows that Iran and Saudi Arabia practically are in a state of cold war and the practical finding of the paper and suggestion is that Iran and Saudi Arabia should not close the diplomatic and negotiations channel because in the absence of diplomacy there is possibility that the management of relations may go out of hands of the statesmen and the military commanders may take control of the situation. In that case both the countries will face difficult and unpredictable conditions.

Iran’s nuclear program is one of the major issues in the relationship of Iran and the United States after the Islamic Revolution. The United States different and ambiguous positions towards the nuclear program of Iran have played a significant role in prolongation and ups and down of the problem. The two approaches of unilateralism and multilateralism are among the most important positions. During George Bush (Junior) presidency, the United States was pursuing unilateralist policies and playing the role of a hegemon. In the last years of Bush administration due to weak policy in the Middle East, it changed into multilateralism. With the arrival of Obama into White House, the United States pursued multilateral policies in various areas including Iranian nuclear program. The outcome of this policy was negotiation with Iran on nuclear program and cooperation with the 5 group of countries and a change in Iran’s position. The present article by a comparative approach wants to compare the two approaches of the United States. The main question of the article is “how can we compare the approaches of Bush administration and Obama administration about Iranian nuclear program?” The underlying hypothesis is that the comparison of the policies of the two administrations shows that hegemony and militarism is the indicators of unilateralism and international cooperation and institutionalism are important indicators of multilateralism.

In recent decade Hollywood cinema is increasingly has paid attention to producing films and serials with the political contents relating to Iran. The set of movies called “300” is trying to exclusively deal with the difference of political thought of ancient Iran and ancient Greece. Meanwhile the movie 300 tries to simulate the confrontation of ancient Iranian thinking and Greece thinking with the present confrontation of Islamic Republic of Iran thought and the United States. The article first examines the principle of the thinking projected in the movie “300: the Rise of an Empire” and then explains the basis of the contending thought. The hypothesis of the article is that, the movie “300” wants to infuse this point that the political foundation of thinking of East and West had been different form the ancient time and the political elevation of West against the political obstruction and despotism of the East had been continuing ever since. Therefore, the conflict between Iran and the United States in international scene is a confrontation between freedom and democracy and despotism which has their roots in ancient time. The methodology used in the paper is a mix of Van Dyke’s discourse and Roland Barthes analysis.
