    The purpose of the present study is to investigate effective factors in making people willing to repurchase sports match tickets online with the approach of extending technology acceptance model. This research is considered applied regarding its purpose, descriptive- survey regarding its method, and is based on Structural Equation Model (SEM). The participants are Iran's national volleyball team's fans in world league 2013 who have at least once purchased the tickets online. Data analysis of the questionnaire was done using SPSS18 and AMOS20.The results show that perceived trust has the highest impact on the attitude and intention of people to repurchasing sports match tickets so the better attitude will have towards using the system. Also perceived ease of use is in second that means as the purchasing system seems easier, desire to buy will be increased. Finally perceived usefulness of purchasing system can create positive attitudes about the use of technology.

    The study attempts to find out the impact of buyback announcement on share price. Paired sample T-test is employed to compare share price before and after the buyback announcement. The analysis of variance is also used to find out whether there is any significant difference among industries in the price change due to buyback announcement. The study is carried out from 1st January 2005 to 31st December 2012. The estimation window period is taken as 10 days before and after announcement of buyback. Market adjusted model is used to calculate the abnormal return during the window period. The study concludes that the buyback announcement do not have impact on share price in industry wise analysis but have partial impact on share price in subject to company wise analysis. The abnormal returns and cumulative abnormal returns of the most of companies are positive in both long run and short run.

    In recent years stock exchange has become one of the most attractive and growing businesses in respect of investment and profitability. But applying a scientific approach in this field is really troublesome because of variety and complexity of decision making factors in the field. This paper tries to deliver a new solution for portfolio selection based on multi criteria decision making literature and clustering approach. The paper results reveal that four basic indexes (including: leverage indices, efficiency ratio, liquidity ratio, and market value ratio) besides twenty four secondary indexes were effective in portfolio selection.
    Multi attribute decision making method (MADM) and clustering were used as analytical tools. The cases of this study embrace pharmaceutical companies accepted in Tehran Stock Exchange. For clustering companies, they were divided into two clusters and finally the companies which located in optimum cluster were ranked via SD Heuristics method. This method eliminates considerable amount of cases and by doing so it helps the experts to sort and rank the alternatives more effectively. It's recommended by researchers to apply qualitative methods in addition to quantitative ones.

    The present study aimed to examine the determinants of using alternative treatment plans in different types of problems by different educated professionals to facilitate in formulating the appropriate marketing strategies of the most important emergency product- Medicare service providers. This paper attempted to find out the attitudes and behavior of educated professionals in adopting different alternatives in different types of physical problems in order to carry out appropriate program of social marketing. The educated professionals of different fields are selected by stratified sampling method for collecting data by a structured questionnaire. Four major types of alternative treatment plans are considered; allopathic treatment on the basis of modern medical science, homeopathic, herbal and most irrational spiritual-magical method. Physical problems are also divided into seven major categories to get a reflection on overall viewpoints. Opinion of professionals on the main reasons of selecting specific service is also considered for that research. The findings reflects that choices of alternatives by the professionals is differed in different types of problems depends on the success rate, cost of service, risk of side effect and the fear of treatment method specially in case of surgery. Misconception about the cause of diseases and treatment plans is prevailing among a small portion of professionals due to their cultural belief that is not changed by their education. Aggressive advertisement in mass media and other media is also influencing the patients to take the alternative of most scientific method.

    This paper aims to shed the light on how the luxury tourism may serve as a community economic development strategy in the depleted communities. The purpose of the study is to identify the interests and preferences of potential tourists in the 21st century, primarily those individuals who have the time and money to spend a week visiting the 1000 Islands region, thereby contributing much more to the local economy than those tourists for stay for only a few hours. The study used a simple Non-Experimental Fixed Research Design questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale for 17 possible aspects of a luxury vacation in the 1000 Islands. The survey was conducted by telephone, and the Chairs of the various chapters of the Canadian Association of Retired Persons were contacted with a goal of speaking to half of the 51 CARP Chapter Chairs. Of the 17 items that were scored by the 15 research participants, Leisure Time proved to be the most popular item surveyed.

    Mutual funds are the best tool to mobilize savings and investments in an economy and Pakistan is the pioneer in South Asia, but this industry is not as much mature in comparison to its age in Pakistan. This paper examines the performance of closed ended mutual funds in Pakistan by using five different ranking measures during a period of January 2009 to December 2013 and the sample consists of only five closed mutual funds. Ranking measures used in this study include Sharpe, Treynor, Sortino, Information and Jensen Alpha. Closed ended mutual funds are characterized by underperformance during this period. Results for Treynor and Information measures portray satisfactory performance while other measures report strong underperformance on the part of mutual funds. Fund managers should opt for less risky and more diversified portfolios as this will lead to the better performance of mutual funds because the extent to which diversification will be achieved will cause funds unsystematic risk to fade away and the only risk faced will be the systematic risk.

    The organizational life pervaded with politics (some organizations more than others are). Hence, political behavior is an ordinary part of the Performance Appraisals (PAS) processes and PAS are highly prone by politics. Politics is an important determinant in the pay systems as both supervisors and subordinates have possibilities to influence the results of the appraisal process. The overall atmosphere of all organizations has an influence on the effectiveness of the performance appraisals. The core objective of this review is to accomplish an imperative review of "the politics of performance appraisal” by enticing material from diverse literatures. The study conducted in the aviation industry in Islamabad. Total sample size for this study is 100 including both senior and middle management and comprised of employees who had participated in the organization's appraisal process for at least two years. Politics often enters the performance appraisal method thus manipulating the works. Therefore, to keep the process hindered in a political game, a conscious effort needed by both the manager and those training him or her in appraisal techniques. This study provides useful insights by demonstrating the importance of effective PA in enhancing performance in aviation industry context. Moreover, this study sets out to investigate the politics of PAS in Aviation industry in Islamabad. The results revealed a negative perception that the employees held of the PAS that the system affected by subjectivity, and was influenced by some major errors.
