The present study attempted to investigate the probable relationship between Iranian young language learners’ identity processing styles and their learning styles. To this end, 29 advanced learners, 23 females and 6 males were randomly selected from an English language Institute. Twenty nine advanced young language learners were chosen randomly out of whole advanced young language learners in the mentioned English Language Institute using simple randomization. Detailed information was provided for them relevant to the title, its significance, and the procedures they would go through to participate in this study. They were asked to fill out a revised version of identity style inventory and a learning styles inventory questionnaires. After collecting the data, the results revealed that Iranian young language learners’ identity processing style and their learning style were not related to each other. An independent t-test was run to compare the mean scores of male and female. The results indicated that there was not a significant difference between the mean scores of the two groups on the learning style. The findings have implication for language learners, teachers, and material developers.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of satellite networks (GEM TV and Farsi 1) on the religious beliefs of youth in the city of Farashband. The type of research in terms of purpose, applied and in terms of data collection, was causal-comparative. The statistical population of this study is all the youths of the Farashband city in 2015, which includes 7569 people. The sample size of this study is 365 people, which is obtained through multistage cluster sampling. The data gathering tool in this research is a researcher-made questionnaire based on the impact of satellite networks and religious beliefs of young people.
The results of regression analysis and analysis of variance showed that the amount of watching satellite channels has a negative effect on the religious beliefs of young people in the sense that how much watching satellite networks increased the religious beliefs of young people become weaker. The amount of satellite watching is negatively affecting the collective dimension of religious beliefs, meaning that as the amount of satellite TVs increases, the collective dimension of the religious beliefs of young people becomes weaker.

This paper explores the relationship between smartphone practices and lifestyle in urban Iran. Recently, the use of smartphones has dramatically been increased in Iran, and this trend is expected to influence users’ lifestyle in the everyday context. Therefore, to test this hypothesis, I follow the notion of “lifestyle” which was advanced by Pierre Bourdieu to offer an analysis of this changing trend. I choose the sample based on purpose sampling and conduct the research through an online survey. The number of participants was 219. The results underscored the research hypothesis, but they also indicated that using a smartphone is not a powerful indicator to explain the lifestyle variance. The Pearson correlation was 0.42, but ANOVA test confirmed that the use of smartphone explains only 0.17 percentage of lifestyle variance. Further analysis showed that other variables like gender, education and age do not have a predicting effect on lifestyle. However, income plays a role.

The sample size is compiled based on the Morgan table of 302 people. The results of the analysis of the Kolmogorov-Smirnov Tests and the Pearson correlation coefficient indicated that there is a relationship between family values (rituals and traditions, spouse selection criteria, decision-making system, intergenerational gap and accountability) and marriage tendency in female secondary school students.

Based on the conducted interviews, the divorced or divorcing women suffer from dissatisfying sexual relationships with their husbands in the final years of the marital life. The present study has been carried out aiming at investigation of effective factors on women’s sexual disorders. The samples of this research were selected based on a purposive sampling method from among 40 divorced and divorce applicant women in the Iranian city of Shiraz. The research was accomplished via a constructivist approach using a qualitative method, Grounded Theory and the data were collected through an in-depth interview technique. In order to achieve the theoretical framework, the categories of high conflict-driven increased sexual dissatisfaction of couple, meta marriage relationships of husband, sexual aversion of wife and her non-attachment to her husband were identified via three phases of open, axial, and selective coding. By segregation and composition of three core components of the research in selective coding, the final category was obtained as “women’s sexual disorder” which may affect other categories as well.
