Math anxiety is one of the most important variables distorting math learning. The aim of the present study was to determine the role of metacognitive strategies and math self efficacy in reduction of math anxiety by means of structural equation modeling (SEM). To this end، 436 (mean age= 15years and 8 months، SD=17 months) 9th grade male students from public high schools in Tehran were selected through random cluster sampling. They responded the scales of metacognitive strategies (Pintrich et al.، 1991)، math anxiety (Bai et al.، 2009; Bai، 2011) and researcher-made math self-efficacy scale. Determining validity of measurement models، the results confirmed fitness of the hypothesized structural model to the dat (X /df= 1. 59، GFI= 0. 91، AGFI= 0. 89، RMSEA= 0. 04). Based on the results، math self-efficacy has a decreasing direct effect on math anxiety (β=-0. 67، p=0. 005). Also metacognitive strategies has an increasing direct effect on math self-efficacy (β=0. 45، p=0. 005) and a decreasing indirect effect on math anxiety (β=-0. 30، p=0. 006). Mediating role of math self-efficacy in the relationship between metacognitive strategies and math anxiety was confirmed.

The present study aims to investigate the relation between actual-ideal self discrepancy in big five personality traits on Students'' quality of life. To do this، we used correlation research methods، with purpose of prediction. We collected data from students (n=322) of Azad University of Anar branch by random stratified sampling method. Then we asked them to complete two personality inventories (NEO-FFI) by McCrae and Costa and The World health Organization Scale of quality of life. The results revealed that actual-ideal self-discrepancy in the personality trait of neuroticism was negatively predictor of quality of life. The result dimensions of quality of life revealed that actual-ideal self-discrepancy in the personality traits of neuroticism and conscientiousness were negatively predictor of physical health. Also actual-ideal self-discrepancy in the personality trait of neuroticism was negatively predictor of dimensions of psychological health and Social relations. In environment dimension none of actual-ideal self-discrepancy in the personality traits was a significant predictor. The results show that discrepancy among the different kinds of self-concepts in personality traits can lead to various emotional and behavioral reactions toward quality of life.

the psychological assessments of psychiatric patients based on art are usually subjective. Formal Elements of Art Therapy Scales (FEATS) is a way to objectively measure the clients'' paintings. This study was investigated the application of FEATS in recognition of psychiatric disorders. the research method was descriptive- comparative. Fifty six psychiatric patients (42 female and 14 male) in residential centres for psychiatric patients in Birjand were selected as research sample. The normal subjects were matched with the patients based on age، gender، educational and marriage levels. the results showed in all elements of FEATS (except to absence of rotation) there were statistically significant differences between patients and normal subjects. based on the results، the FEATS is recommended as a supplementary method for recognition of cognitive and behavioural problems.

the aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between self-differentiation and emotional intelligence with marital satisfaction. This fundamental research was a descriptive study in terms of data collection that was done in a predictive correlational design. 250 married employees were selected from University of Tabriz and Tabriz University of medical sciences in 1390 academic years in terms of gender. The subjects ranged in age from 23 to 54. The questionnaires of Enrich marital satisfaction، Skowron self-differentiation and Shrink emotional intelligence were used for collecting data. For data analysis، correlation and stepwise regression method was used. Data analysis showed that self-differentiation، emotional intelligence and their components are associated with marital satisfaction; and emotional intelligence، I-position، emotional cut-off، and emotional reactivity were the best predictors of marital satisfaction. The results of this study can be used to enhance marital satisfaction، because self-differentiation and emotional intelligence are the variables that can be manipulated through psychotherapy and education.

The purpose of this research was investigated the relationship between religious beliefs and psychological well-being with spiritual health in Tabriz University students. Research method was descriptive-correlative and statistical population includes all of the student of Tabriz University that was 15000 student and 400 people (200 male and 200 female) based on Morgans Table and by using Cluster sampling be selected among them. To collect data by the Aryan Religiosity Questionnaires، Reef Psychological Well- Being and Ellison and Paloutzain Spiritual Health Scale. Data was analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient، step by step، regression and all the processes have been calculated by SPSS software. Results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between religious beliefs and psychological well-being with spiritual health. On the other hand، the results revealed a religious beliefs and psychological well being can predict change spiritual health. Therefore، based on the findings and the importance of religion in psychological well-being can be achieved by design، especially the design of prevention and treatment، an important step in the promotion of mental health.
