    اهمیت شهر تبریز در دوره ایلخانی به دلایل اقتصادی، سیاسی، مذهبی و به تبع آن توجه به هنر باعث گسترش حضور عرفا، شعرا، اولیا و امرا در سرتا سر شهر شده و نمود بارز این امر، تکریم، توسعه و اهمیت مزارات تا اواخر صفوی است. از این رو هدف این مقاله بررسی سیر افزایش کمی این مزارات از قرون اولیه اسلامی تا اواخر صفوی می باشد. در این تحقیق گردآوری اطلاعات به روش تاریخی اسنادی با دید توصیفی و پدیدارشناسانه و تجزیه و تحلیل اطلاعات آن به شیوه تحلیلی تطبیقی صورت پذیرفته است. نتایج تحقیق حاکی از آن است که تعدد عرفا از سایر افراد نامی در تمام شهر و در تمام دوره ها بیشتر بوده و این امر تاثیرات مهمی در ساخت و سازمان فضایی کالبدی شهر در طول دوره های تاریخی داشته است.

    ابن عباد ملقب به کافی الکفاه، ادیب و سیاست مدار سده چهارم هجری، توانمند در کشورداری و نظم و نثر عربی بوده است. گزارش هایی از مخالفت وی با پزشکان و دانش پزشکی وجود دارد، اما در عین حال نامه ای در دیوان رسائل الصاحب مشتمل بر مطالب طبی است و نشان دهنده آشنایی نه چندان اندک صاحب بن عباد با مبانی طب و اسباب و علامات بیماری ها. این مقاله با بررسی محتوای رساله یاد شده و تطبیق با منابع پزشکی سده های میانه، دانسته های طبی صاحب بن عباد را می سنجد و دلیل مخالفت های وی با پزشکان و دانش پزشکی را نیز جستجو می نماید. یافته ها نشان می دهد نویسنده این رساله آگاه از مبانی طب در عصر خویش بوده و نظرات خویش را مبتنی بر منابع پزشکی موجود در آن عصر ارائه کرده است. به نظر می رسد مخالفت وی با پزشکان و دانش پزشکی نیز ریشه در گرایش ها و مطالب فلسفی پزشکان و دانش پزشکی داشته است.

    راهیابی پزشکان به دربار برای درمان خلیفه و درباریان، زمینه ساز ورودشان به عرصه قدرت و سیاست بود. بررسی نحوه ارتباط خلفا و پزشکان، جایگاه ممتازشان در نزد خلفا و درباریان، تاثیرگذاری در عرصه سیاست و موقعیت مالی آنها ازجمله مباحث مغفول مانده در حوادث عصر اول عباسی است. این مقاله می کوشد بر اساس رویکرد ارتباط سلامت، در نگاهی کارکردی به توضیح و تبیین حضور پزشکان در دربار خلفای عباسی بپردازد و نشان دهد پزشکان چگونه بر برنامه های سیاسی خلفا تاثیر می گذاشتند. نیز نشان دهد به رغم نفوذی که پزشکان در دربار داشتند و گاه فرامینی صادر می کردند، یا به مناصبی دست می یافتند، از گزند منازعات سیاسی به دور نبوده و نفوذ سیاسی شان فارغ از همدلی و همراهی با خلیفه، ناپایدار و بسته به نظر شخص حاکم بوده است.

    «تبیین» به عنوان مسئله ای مهم از مسائل فلسفه تاریخ، علم تاریخ و نیز تاریخ نگاری با همه انواع، مدل ها و الگوهایی که دارد، عهده دار بیان رابطه منطقی میان رویدادها، تغییرات و تحولات تاریخی از یک سو و چرایی و چگونگی آنها از سوی دیگر است. توجه به روش ها و الگو های تاریخ نگاری مورخان مسلمان می تواند مبادی افکار و ایده های مربوط به تبیین ها در ارتباط با رخداد های تاریخ اسلام را بنمایاند. چنان که توجه به انواع تبیین می تواند سیر تحول تبیین ها در تاریخ نگاری اسلامی را که درسایه رشد و دگرگونی علمی، عقلی، فرهنگی، سیاسی و اجتماعی، توسعه چشمگیری داشته، نشان دهد. در این نوشته با روش تحلیلی تلاش شده است انواع تبیین ها در آثار مورخان برجسته همچون: طبری، مسعودی، مقدسی، مسکویه، ابن کثیر و ابن خلدون از قرن چهارم تا هشتم، مورد توجه قرار گیرد. نتیجه آنکه می توان از تحول تبیین ها از روایی صرف به سوی تبیین عقلی و پی جویی علل و عوامل رخدادها و چرایی ها و چگونگی ها سخن گفت.

    مقتل نگاری از شاخه های مهم تاریخ نگاری و مورد اعتنای همه فرق اسلامی است، که با تلاشی همگانی و رویکردهایی متفاوت بالنده شد. پژوهش حاضر مقتل نگاری را با رویکردی علمی تحلیلی تا قرن سوم و با تکیه بر نقش اصحاب امامان شیعه^ بررسی می نماید. در این آمایش با استفاده از شیوه تاریخی، ذهن شناسی مولفان (به معنای نوعی راهیابی به آرا و تفکرات آنان، با مطالعه آثار و شرح حال ها برای گمانه زنی درباره شیوه نگارشی و رویکرد مولفان به مسائل تاریخی) و مقایسه آثار آنان، دو جریان حدیث نگر و تاریخ نگر مطالعه شده است و براساس منابع و اسناد مکتوب موجود به مسائلی مانند بنیان گذاری یا استمراربخشی مقتل نگاری صحابیان، جایگاه و بستر حرکت علمی آنان، گونه شناسی فکری، صنف شناسی نگارشی، نوع شناسی تعامل آنان با دیگران و فرایندشناسی انتقال آن به آیندگان پرداخته و سرانجام با آمیزه ای از توصیف نقلی و تحلیل عقلی، دامنه تحقیق را جمع کرده است.

    نهاد اداری به عنوان یکی از ملزومات تداوم ساختار سیاسی حکومت، در تثبیت اقتدار خلافت اموی و عباسی (عصر اول) نقش داشته است. با توجه به تکوین نظام اداری در دوره اموی و استمرار قدرت بنی امیه تا حدود یک قرن و نیز تکامل این نظام در دوره عباسی، پژوهش حاضر به واکاوی نقش، تاثیر و رابطه متقابل دیوان سالاری و اقتدار سیاسی در استمرار قدرت خلافت اموی و عباسی می پردازد. یافته های این پژوهش که به شیوه توصیفی تحلیلی و با استفاده از مفهوم اقتدار سنتی وبر انجام شده است، نشان می دهد که حکومت اموی با الگوبرداری از نظام اداری امپراتوری های ساسانی و بیزانس، مشخصات پاتریمونیالیسم یافت، اما مشکلات داخلی، اختلاف های مذهبی و نابرابری اجتماعی از موانع عمده ارتقای دیوانسالاری در این دوره بود. درحالی که حکومت عباسی با اقتدار خلیفه، تقسیم وظایف، گسترش دواوین، تمرکز نظام اداری و کنترل دیوانسالاران توسعه یافت؛ شیوه حکومتی ای که وبر آن را نظام پاتریمونیال بوروکراتیک نامیده است.

    Tabriz was considered as a very important city during the Ilkhanid for economic¡ political¡ and religious reasons. Paying attention to the art led to the presence of the mystics¡ poets¡ saints and rulers across the city¡ and that could be a reason for the development and importance of the tombs in the late Safavid era. The aim of this paper was to examine the growing trend in the number of the tombs from the early Islamic centuries until the late Safavid era. In this study¡ data was collected using historical documents with a descriptive and phenomenological perspective. Data was analyzed implementing comparative analysis. The results showed that the number of the mystics was more than that of the other famous people in the city and in all the eras. This had a significant impact on the structure and organization of the physical spaces in the city throughout the historical periods.

    Ibn Abbad known as Kāfi al-Kofāt¡ a scholar and politician in the fourth century (A.H) was a capable governor¡ competent in Arabic prose and poetry. The existing reports imply his opposition to the doctors and science of medicine. However¡ there is a letter in Rasail Sahib consisting of medical texts reflecting Sahib Ibn Abbad familiarity with the basics of medicine and symptoms of diseases. This article examined the content of the above mentioned treatise and compared it with the medieval medical resources to investigate Sahib Ibn Abbad medical knowledge and the reasons of his opposition to the doctors and science of medicine. Results showed that the author of this treatise was aware of the principles of medicine of his time and his comments were based on the medical resources available in that era. It seemed that his opposition to the doctors and science of medicine was rooted in the doctors’ attitudes and philosophical content and also the science of medicine.

    Doctors’ presence in the court for curing the caliph and the courtiers paved the ground for their involvement in power and politics. Examining the quality of the caliphs’ and doctors’ relationships¡ doctors’ elevated position among the caliphs and the courtiers¡ their impact on the political arena and their financial positions were among the neglected issues in the events of the first Abbasid era. Based on health communication approach¡ this article tried to explain the presence of the doctors in the court of the Abbasid caliphs and show how the physicians influenced the caliphs’ political agendas. It also revealed that although doctors were influential in the court¡ sometimes issued some commands¡ and gained some positions¡ they were not free from the harm of the international conflicts. Regardless of their communion with the Caliph¡ their political stand has been unstable and dependent on the Caliph’s opinion.

    “Explanation” is an important issue in the philosophy of history¡ science of history and historiography with its all types¡ models and patterns. It is responsible for expressing the rational relationship between the events¡ changes and historical developments on the one hand and the why and the how of them on the other hand. Paying attention to the Muslim historians’ methods and models of historiography reveals the origin of the thoughts and ideas pertaining to the explanation in relation with the history of Islam events. Examining different types of explanations can reveal the evolution of the explanation in the Islamic historiography. It developed significantly due to the scientific¡ intellectual¡ cultural¡ political and social changes and advancements. Implementing an analytical method¡ this article tried to investigate different types of explanations in the works of prominent historians like Tabari¡ Masudi¡ Moqadasi¡ Miskawayh¡ Ibn Kasir and Ibn Khaldun from the fourth to the eighth centuries. The results revealed that explanation evolved towards rational explanation from solely narrative explanation. There appeared a search for the causes of the events and their whys and hows.

    Battle Writing is an important branch of historiography and is attended by all the Islamic sects. It is raised and developed through the collective efforts and various approaches. The present study implemented an analytical- scientific approach to investigate the issue of Battle Writing up to the third century with an emphasis on the role of the companions of the Shiite Imams (AS). Using a historical method¡ reading the minds of the authors (i.e. getting an access to their opinions and way of thinking through studying their works and biographies to speculate on their writing styles and approaches to the historical matters)¡ and comparing their works¡ the viewpoints of the traditionalists and historiographers were studied. Based on the available sources and written documents¡ issues such as the companions’ battle writing foundation making and continuity¡ the position and the context of their scientific movement¡ their intellectual typology¡ their writing casteology¡ the typology of their interaction with the others and knowing the process of passing it on to the future generations were investigated. This study was a combination of narrative descriptions and intellectual analysis.

    Administrative institution as one of the requirements for the continuation of the political structure of the state played a role in establishing the authority of the Umayyad and the Abbasid (the first era) Caliphates. With regards to the development of the administrative system in the Umayyad period¡ the continuation of the Umayyad power for almost a century and the evolution of the administrative system in the Abbasid era¡ this study explores the role¡ impact and interaction between bureaucracy and political authority in the continuation of the Umayyad and Abbasid Caliphates'' power. The findings of this study¡ which was based on an analytical-descriptive approach¡ using Weber''s concept of traditional authority¡ show that by imitating the administrative system of the Sasanian and Byzantine empires¡ Umayyad government adopted a Patrimonialism profile. However¡ the internal problems¡ religious differences and social inequalities were the main obstacles for promoting bureaucracy in this period. While in the Abbasid government due to the authority of the Caliph¡ tasks division¡ institutions expansion¡ focused administrative system and control over the bureaucrats were developed and expanded; a governmental approach which was called Patrimonial- Bureaucratic system by Weber.
