Abstract:
Wisdom is the great pearl of Persian literature that has been praised by many authors and poets. Throughout history, wisdom has sometimes been referred to as knowledge, reason, and insight. It has sometimes been known as the preliminary knowledge and sometimes as the whole and intuitive knowledge. The former is called the simple wisdom and the latter the complex wisdom. The aim of this article is to figure out whether simple wisdom can change to complex wisdom or whether change and development is diachronic or synchronic. In this content-based analysis, poets such as the pioneers of Persian literature, the contemporaries of Rudaki, Nasser Khosrow, Attar, and Mowlana have been studied and critiqued.
