Investigation of Effective Factors on Trade Flows of Iran Agricultural Products and OIC Countries

Today as globalization، economic integration flourishes in all part of the world. One of the necessary qualifications for going against the globalization of Islamic countries is the aid of trade potential and comparative advantage especially in agricultural product. This study is done with the aim of investigating mutual trade potential of Iran agricultural products and the members of OIC and effective factor on their trade flow by using Gravity Model and panel data according to HS code during 2002-6. Results show that per capita GDP،exchange rate، arrable land،agriculture sector structure، distance and trade completion degree are the effective factors on trade flow in Iran`s agricultural sector. Also economic integration between Iran and OIC members increase volume of agricultural their mutual trade this can be the reason of increasing the relations between Iran and OIC. Also Iran and OIC members follow trade Hechsher-Ohlin pattern in agricultural product and trade volum increase with the increasing of trade completed.
