The Study of the rate of Research Skills Familiarity of Razan teachers and its development procedures

The main purpose of this research is the study of the rate of Razan teachers’ familiarity with research skills and their expanding ways. The research method is survey one. The statistical population are all guidance and secondary school male and female teachers of Razan and its number is 302 teachers. Using ratio stratified sampling method about 175 teachers were selected as statistical sample. The data gathering instrument is a researcher made questionnaire. The instrument reliability using cronbach’s Alpha was shown to be about./84.The statistical tests include independent and one sample T- test and Monova. Research findings show that teachers take advantage of problem cognition(M= 4/77), hypothesis making (M= 3/84), and inferential skills (M= 1/75), and their analyzing skill is less than expected mean (M= 1/98), also research findings show that there is not significant differences between teachers data gathering skill in sum and their research skills. Finally, concerning the proposed expanding of the research skills it is better to increase research and statistics hours of academic education of the teachers in university at different level’s curriculum and to pay special attention to researcher teachers.
