Comparative Study of Islamic Discourse In Iranian Revolution (1979) and Egyptian Revolution (2011)

After three decades of Islamic Revolution in Iran, the world witnesses new revolutions and uprisings in the Middle East and North Africa. Because of their importance, this article compares Iranian and Egyptian revolutions and examines the impact of Islamic discourse in making each of these revolutions. The main question in this research is that is Islam the main discourse in Egyptian revolution, as it was in Iranian revolution. This research is of descriptive- comparative type. To do this research, objective evidence in historical reports are examined.
