The examination of the relation between parent's attachment styles and religious attachment styles

This study was conducted to examine the relationship between style of parent attachment and style religious attachment among student. 357 student selected on stratified random sampling they assessed by Inventory adult attachment (AAI) Hazen and Shaver (1987), symptoms checklist 90-R entering in events life test. The data analyzed by statistical test t and F for significantly correlation in regression equation. The finding was explained that based on secure attachment can expected Reliance on God. As well based on avoidant attachment style can expected the style of religious attachment. As well this study demonstrate there was no any relation between adult attachment style and self directing religious attachment style. According in Bollby’s (1973) point of view the continuation of attachment styles along the time and transferring attachment style among generation following by mental style.
