Methods of hypocrites from the Qur anic perspective

Aquestion frequently referred to in Islamic texts, especially the Qur’an, is the question of the methodology of hypocrites. The purpose is to unveil the double face of hypocrites and make their true psychological, political, cultural and social characters known to the Islamic community. In various instances, the Qur’an compares hypocrites to believers with the aim of exposing their true nature. Since hypocrites have proved to be dangerous enemies of Islamic values from the very beginning, it is important that we know them so that they cannot hide themselves beneath their deceptive words and actions. In this paper, the writer first explores the meaning of hypocrisy and hypocrites’ methods, then discusses the importance of this subject and finally addresses the various issues related to the methods of hypocrites.
