The Role of strategic environmental variables in improvement of political trust

Trust is the basis for almost all the ongoing interactions in human societies; either interpersonal or social communications among various groups. Still in most if not all the societies, the degree of overall trust to government and its subsidiaries is heavily tempered by a diverse array of reasons involving loss of social capital, exposure to critical media, and especially decrease or loss of accountability of public sector organizations and followed institutions. But there are many evidences show that strategic environmental variables such as social trust may be effective on this situation. In this article, we study trust literature firstly and then evaluate the effect of strategic environmental factors on public and political trust. Research method was descriptive (survey research). Data was gathered with questionnaires and analyzed with LISREL and SPSS. Our statistical sample has selected from the research community that formed from Public and private organizations in Tehran. As the role of strategic environmental factors in public and political trust remained neglected, this article try to emphasize this important role and suggests developed model for strategic environmental variables that effect public and political trust in Iran. Hence the article can help to improve and complete the boundary of knowledge in relevant areas. The results of such studies can be considered as the basis for more attention to the public and political trust and solutions for their improvements.
