Manifestation of Mystical Ten-Folded Positions in Khaqani's Complete Divan

Khaqani, the famous elegist of the sixth century of A.H., is also well known for his eulogy and overtook others in making images specially when describing nature or praising morning and its epitomes. Besides, he was interested in mystics or mystical expressions. Although his mystic isnt ranked alongside Sanaee and Attar, his enthusiasm for the Quest is engrossing.The manifestation of the ten positions of penitence, abstinence, asceticism, poverty, patience, gratitude, fear, hope, reliance and satisfaction in his Divan is alluring. In this study, the aforementioned positions with poetical events are thoroughly exploited from his work aligned with related analyses. It is aimed to illustrate that Khaqani had a hand in mystics in addition to other artistic dimensions and he used concepts of excellencies in all components of his poetry backed by lots of evidence.
