A Model for Electronic Readiness of Organizations to use Information Technology and Communication Services, Using Analytical Hierarchy Process Technique

In this research after reviewing the relevant literature and comparative analysis of the e-readiness models, a conceptual framework for evaluation of organizational e-readiness based on the condition of Iranian organizations has been designed. Then, this model with 6 criteria (including commitment of top management, IT policies and strategies, specialized dimension of organizational management, IT human resource development, IT infrastructure and IT-related processes) and 25 sub-criteria was validated by statistical analysis and expert opinions and using Analytical Hierarchy Process technique (AHP) and its software named Expert Choice. This model was tested and approved in a field study and the results for development and upgrade of the measures of model criteria in organization under study were offered.
