Analysing the land use of C.B.D iniran metropolises using geographic information systems (GIS) (case study: Eight regional of Tabriz city)

Fair access to urban land-use and for optimal land-use is one of the fundamental components of sustainable development and social justice. Today concept of land and urban space in terms of both the natural-physical and economic-social change has been qualitative، therefore extent and purpose of the land-use is vast and rich. Therefore، usage of land and public space as a source of critical and public wealth (property)، should be done by plan in principle. Considering the importance of this issue، in this study، we analyse land area of the eighth zone of tabriz according to the views expressed in quantitative and qualitative. In this study، with descriptive and analytical documents، analysed the quantitative and qualitative issues and deficiencies of land-use separately، with terms of social conditions، economic and structural facilities of the city، and common techniques and geographic information system (GIS) to analyse the land-use is used. Eventually strategies for the organization of space in the current situation using SWOT strategic approach are presented. The results of this study indicate that this area of the city''s plans do not meet the required performance because of legal and regulatory bottlenecks، lack of proper communication between the organization، management interference، lack of attention to values in the zone، lack of attention to features of social - cultural and economic. As well quantitative assessment of land use، considering the per capita and measures and qualitative evaluation of the study، indicate that some of existing land-uses are unbalanced and not consistent with scientific standards and criteria in terms of quantitative and qualitative.
