Traffic police duties concerning the supervision Of road executive operations

One of the causes behind fatal accidents is the lack of attention to road safety rules by some persons and organizations who manage executive operations without installing standard safety signs. Articles 211& 212 of traffic code point to obligation of persons and organizations to be in coordination with traffic police and installation of road signs according to safety standards has been noted. Now the existing standards in Iran that are in use are the code of road safety issue –number 267-7 of the ministry of roads and transportation and management organization that explains a variety of signs required in executive operations and the conduct of securing. according to the traffic code, police are held responsible for these points, it is needed that the above-mentioned agents have the essential knowledge regarding required signs and standards in executive operations. In this article the duties of traffic police in relation with the supervision of executive operations and security standards has been explained.
