Prioritizing tourism development strategies usingo multi-criteria decision models for (A case study of Kurdistan Province)

Tourism is one of the utmost grown industries of the second half of twentieth century and seemed to be as key element for economic growth of world which its revenues is used for local development. The present article attempted to define sustainable tourism strategy for the city of Sanandaj regarding to internal and external opportunities، threats، strengths and weaknesses. The methodology of the research is based on analytical-descriptive a method which was accompanied by a field work. IEA technique was used to assign the optimum strategies and then for prioritizing ELECTER، TOPSIS and Kaplan were applied. The results showed that the strategy of development of tourism infrastructures had the highest priority for tourism development in the region.
