The Evaluation of the Influence of Information Technology on Improving Learning in Math and English in Secondary Schools in Babol

Abstract:
This research was performed to study the application of information technology on improving secondary students learning in math and English courses. The research method was a semi-experimental and the statistical population of the research included 3828 students from 16 schools، that is، all the secondary girl students in Bablo in 2011-2012 academic year. From among the schools equipped with ICT in statistical population، two math classes and two English classes of second grade were chosen as experimental and control groups through simple random sampling method and performed per-test and post-test on them. The data were gathered using achievement tests that confirmed by related educational groups. The gathering data were analyzed through Co-Variance analysis test and Bonferroni’s post hoc test. The results revealed that the application of information technology had positive impact on the learning of secondary students in math and English courses in Babol city.
