Iran's population policy change and its security implications

Abstract:
Population has been one of the main topics of scholars، philosophers and statesmen and in this field different perspectives are presented since the distant past. Population policy in Iran after some ups and downs nowadays is based on family planning and population control that has been associated with success during the time of its implementation. But more recently some have questioned its continuation and the necessity of policy change is expressed. This research is trying to study the necessity or lack of necessity need to change the country’s population policy and its possible security implications by descriptive research method. After research it was found that there is no need to change the previous country’s population policy at present and the change might have security consequences headed by thecountry’s dependence ever more to the arrogant world.
