Challenge of Islamic Education (concerning to the novel but deeply contrast of Islam and Modernity)

Islamic education is a set of principles of theoretical and practical methods in education which are based on Quran, narrations, and the opinions of jurists, philosophers and other Muslim thinkers. This collection of principles growth some different Dimensions of human prosperity including intellectual, emotional, social, and physical once, making human personality and human behavior in various fields of life. It is naturally that by the challenges of education, we mean the emergence of damage which is an obstacle for the existence and realization of Islamic education. This article tries to show modernity as fundamental theoretical challenge to the Islamic education. although, there are some other obstacles in modern Iranian society for the realization of Islamic education, but modernity has further damage due to the depth and deep contrast with Islamic education. This point can be illustrated clearly in the fundamentals, principles and objectives of "Islamic education" and "modernity", because education is our most important concern which is based on the idea of "excellence and becoming" while modernity attacks on Islamic – Iranian culture basing on the idea of "this-worldly immanence".
