Online Services at the Urumia University of Medical Sciences: a use and user study

Investigating use of online services by the faculty members and measuring their staidaction as well as identifying problems and barriers Design/Methodology/Approach: Data collection tool in this survey study consisted of a researcher designed questionnaire. Statistical population consisted of 220 faculty members، out of which a sample of 140 was selected using Morgan Sampling Table. Findings and Iran Medex was used more frequently (13. 6% of all the use). Theme was used the least (1/4%). Satisfaction criteria from the point of views of the faculty included: up-to-datedness، the number of databases held by the host، consistency with the special needs، quality of information. Main purpose of use was research (21/4%). Main complaint came from low speed connection (23/6%). Lack of command of foreign language was a problem for only 2/2 % of respondents.
