The effectiveness of social work group based on the development approach on improving prosocial behaviors of youth's in Isfahan

The main purpose of this study was the effectiveness of social work group based on the development approach on improving prosocial behaviors. 60 young males and females living in Isfahan were selected through proportional cluster sampling method and by using Prosocial Tendencies Measure Revised. They were randomly selected in two experimental and one control group. Members of experimental groups participated in social work group 8 sessions. Data was analyzed by factor analysis and analysis of covariance. The results showed significant difference between mean scores of experimental and control groups. The social work group based on the development model increased the scores of prosocial behaviors. Also the mean score of experimental group with pattern person was significantly higher than other experimental group who there was no pattern person.
