Abstract:
Today, reduce harmonics in power amplifiers for radio and telecommunication applicationsare necessary. This is necessity due to limited channels bandwidth the communication Standards. Therefore, to prevent the entry of power in adjacent channels need to be reduced harmonics power. Among the derivative harmonics, the second harmonic has a special importance in power circuits asymmetric. Because this harmonic closer than the other harmonics of the fundamental frequency. In this paper, a new method for reducing the second harmonic power at class E power amplifier is introduced. In this paperpresented idea is based on a feed forward path. The input power is splitted into two parts and in output by the same gain with 180 degrees phase difference combined.As a result, output has the least harmonic content. Simulation results the suggested idea at a frequency of 3.5 GHzshows that the second harmonic reduced about 26 dB and be achieving to -50 dBm. In addition to reducing the power of the second harmonic, third and fourth harmonics can be reduced and final values of them are -53 dBm and -76.5 dBm. Total harmonic distortion of this idea is -67.22 dB. Output power and power efficiency achieved 37.25 dBm and 68.1% in this suggestion Idea.
