The Development and Introduction of Strategic Perspectives of Isfahan Sport and Youth Organization by David Model

Abstract:
The aim of this research was to develop perspectives and the strategic plan of Isfahan Sport and Youth Organization within a five-year period from 2011 until 2015. The research was of quantitative and qualitative type. The statistical Sample included 150 high-ranking and middle-ranking managers of Isfahan province. To gather the required data in the quantitative section، a researcher-made questionnaire was used and its validity was confirmed by experts while interview technique was used in the qualitative section. The strategic position and action evaluation (SPACE) matrix and the quantitative strategic planning matrix (QSPM) were used to analyze the data in the quantitative section while the logical induction method was used in the qualitative section. Findings showed that the Isfahan Sport and Youth Organization had 5 long-term goals and 5 macro strategies. Also، the Isfahan Sport and Youth Organization strategies were located in the aggressive position according to SPACE. It can be concluded that these perspectives، goals and the organized strategic planning had the capacity to execute the strategy of this organization.
