Studying the Relation between Knowledge Management and Personnel Creativity (Case Study: Headqaurters of Mazandaran Province)

The aim of this research is to investigate the relation between knowledge management and employee creativity. The research method is descriptive and correlation approach. The research population of this study was the I.R.I police personnels in Mazandaran province that 328 people have been selected as the statistical sample by Cochrane's Method. The type of the present research was applied and has been preceded by survey method. The data gathering tool were two questionnaires. The first questionnaire was related to the knowledge management that has been designed based on Lawson Model and divided it into six aspects. The second questionnaire was designed by the researcher and has been used to assess the amount of creativity in headquarter of Mazandaran province. In order to investigate the meaningfulness of hypotheses of the survey the Pearson's correlation examination and SPSS software have been used. The results of the present research showed that there is a meaningful relation between knowledge management and employee creativity. There are relations between knowledge management (production of knowledge) gaining the knowledge, organizing the knowledge, saving the knowledge, spreading and applying it and the personnel creativity.
