The quality improvement in e-learning institutions: Causes and consequences

Abstract:
Objective
The goal of this study was is to describe process of quality improvement in e-learning institutions.
Methodology
The method of this study is SEM. The questionnaire is implemented to collect data from 153 instructors، professional staffs and e-learning subject expertise as samples.
Findings
Results showed that teaching - learning process had significantly positive effect on learning quality. Then، the characteristics of human actors، and management issues were not directly affecting the learning quality but they had significantly positive effect on the outcomes. Among the contextual factors، the general context had positive significant impact on the learning quality. However، there was not significant relationship between professional context and learning quality. Also، none of the micro، mezzo and macro strategies did affect the learning quality; But development of strategies is affected by environmental factors.
