Message:
Abstract:
Folklore literally refers to all knowledge, beliefs, arts, rules, customs, habits, abilities, and practices which are the intellectual product of the human beings who have lived in the same time and place. If we study the folklore more seriously, we will achieve some significant and valuable information about the different historical, social, economic, and cultural backgrounds of the people who have lived in the same time and geographical place. Since folklore is of great importance in introducing the history and culture of the people who live in an area, we try to study the folkloric elements in the native poems of Ibrahim Monsefi (Raami), Hasan Karami, and Saleh Sangbor. Such studies may hopefully help to maintain this area’s folklore. In this paper, the texts of the poems have been studied, then the folkloric elements in these poems have been analyzed. the results of this study revealed that these poets have played an important role in maintaining Hormozgan’s folkloric treasures., such studies may reveal significant information about different aspects of culture and life of the people who have lived in the past.
