The study of relationship between critical thinking skills and information literacy skills among MA students of Library and Information Science at Psychology and Education Faculty in Allameh Tabatabaei

Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to study the relationship between critical thinking skills and information literacy skills among MA students of Library and Information Science at Psychology and Education Faculty in Allame Tabatabaei in 1389. The study was correlational. The sample was limited to 20 participants studying at AllamehTabatabai.The instruments included the California Critical Thinking Skills Test Form "B" and a questionnaire (Davarpanah &Siamak) to measure student's information literacy. Survey data is located using descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation analysis. based on findings, information literacy in students is higher the level of average and in their critical thinkingis below average. both critical thinking and information literacy and each of the dimensions of critical thinking and information literacy skills of students are significant.
