Critique and review the relation between praying and worshiping in the view point of Quran and Wahhabism
Analyzing the term “praying” in Quran and narrations clarifies the fact that praying has a different meaning in religious terminology than its lexical meaning. Hence, not every kind of praying is worshiping, and there is an absolute generality and peculiarity relation between them. So the claim of Wahhabism that regard prayer equal to worshiping and view requesting from someone rather than Allah, a kind of polytheism, is all wrong. To prove their claim, they resort to using sophistries. In this writing, the concepts of praying and worshiping are made clear. And viewpoint of Wahhabism is criticized.
