The Analysis and Comparison of Anti-Colonialist Approach in Hafez Ibrahim and MirzadehEshghi Poems

The competition of the colonizer government of Britain was started at the beginning of nineteenth century in Iran and later in that century in Egypt. This event which was along with plundering of the national wealth of the two countries had a wide reflection in literature. Since the literature of every nation is influenced by its political and social situation the poets and writers in this period set foot in the field of anti-Colonialism with the sword of pen and made some efforts for preserving their independence and national interests. In this study the views of MirzadehEshghi and Hafez Ibrahim about anti-Colonialism is studied comparatively. In addition to that although the anti-Colonialist poems of the two poets share some similarities in themes they do have some differences in style as well.
