Analysis of historical roots of Anti-Shiism (Naasebism)
Naasebi is the one who holds animosity toward Imam Ali (A.S) and His children. And this attitude became a movement in the early Islam opposing the followers of Imam Ali (A.S). We can observe the manifestation of this movement in wars of Siffin and Jamal, but the official establishment of it started when Muawiyah started Umayyad Dynasty. In this time cursing and vilification of Imam Ali (A.S) was an official governmental order, and it was carried out publicly on the pulpits. This was the starting point of deposing and keeping away the Ahl al-Bayt (the people of the house) from the scientific and religious authority, and as a result formation of extremist and Takfiri movements among Muslims. In the present writing we will analyze the historical roots of Naasebism and its some of its consequences.
