Abstract: In this paper، currere (origin of the term curriculum) has been explored from different perspectives. After the introduction، nature، foundations and stages of currere from perspective of reconceptualism movement are described. Reconceptualism movement is different from traditionalist authors’ viewpoints، such as Bobbitt and Tyler. In recent years، in addition to the reconceptualist and traditional views، two groups of experts have entered into discussion of currere. One group are experts who belong to the field of curriculum. The second group include those who are not curriculum specialists but implications of their views by people belonging to the curriculum is explored. Participation of both groups led to the introduction of new interpretations and applications of currere. These perceptions are located in the path that is continuation of reconceptualist view of Pinar and Grumet or are different from their perceptions. Gough، Deleuze، Wallin and Kincheloe are outstanding experts who created new spaces or conceptions in currere.
