The relationship leadership styles, organizational commitment and happiness with job satisfaction of nursing
Job satisfaction is affected by several variables. Among these most important variables could be considered leadership styles، organizational commitment and happiness. This study aimed to examine the relationship of leadership styles، organizational commitment and happiness with job satisfaction among nurses.
This research is descriptive–analysis from type of cross-sectinal. The statistical population all nurses of 15 Khordad and Shahid Mofatteh hospitals in Varamin suburb. Totally 110 nursing were selected through simple random sampling. All of them completed the questionnaires include multiple leadership، organizational commitment، Oxford happiness and job satisfaction. Data was analyzed using Pearson correlation and stepwise regression and with using of SPSS/19.
Transformational leadership (r=0. 44 & p<0. 001)، transactional leadership (r=0. 36 & p<0. 001)، affective commitment (r=0. 39 & p<0. 001)، continuance commitment (r=0. 27 & p<0. 001)، normative commitment (r=0. 21 & p<0. 005) and happiness (r=0. 53 & p<0. 001) showed a significantly positive relationship with job satisfaction. In a predictor model، happiness، transactional leadership، affective commitment and transformational leadership predicted about 44 percent of variance of job satisfaction. The share of happiness in prediction job satisfaction was higher compared to other variables (Beta=0. 48).
findings showed، happiness، transactional leadership، affective commitment and transformational leadership was the most important predictor of job satisfaction. Therefore، managers، programmers and counselor regarded to symptoms of mention variables and based those design programs for promote job satisfaction among nurses.
