Comparison of Plantar Pressure in Top-Flight and Beginners in Females Taekwondo during Walking

Abstract:
Objectives
The aim of this study was the comparison of plantar pressure distribution، vertical ground reaction force and contact area in dominant and none-dominant limbs between top-flight and beginners in females taekwondo
Materials and Methods
This study was quasi-experimental in which 7 top-flights and 8 beginners taekwondo were selected from females taekwondo. Subjects، plantar pressure، vertical ground reaction force and contact area measured using the emed C50 system. The obtained data from dominant and none-dominant limb between two groups were analyzed by independent-t test
Result
independent-t test show significante difference in lateral hind foot، medial hind foot and metatarsal 3-5 contact area in none dominant limb between top-flights and beginners but did not show any significante difference in dominant limbs (P≥. /. 5).
Conclusion
The result of this study show the influence of taekwondo in plantar pressure distribution and contact area in athletics. And this can makes the difference between top-flight and beginners. The most plantar pressure in dominant limbs of top-flight and beginners applied respectively in metatarsal3-5and big toe
