Analysis of the literature on motorcycle helmet in Iran

The rapid growth of the motorcycle industry in recent years in Iran and welcomed it without considering the safety measures while driving the vehicle caused the motorcycle riders in the second group are the victims of traffic accidents in Iran. Injury to the head in traffic accidents is very common, and despite the use of helmets in reducing head injuries can be useful, the use of helmets among motorcyclists in our country is very low. The aim of this study was to evaluate the use of helmets among motorcyclists and factors encouraging Iranian and limiting the use of helmets among motorcyclists. This study is done documentary and the documents for data collection, review of the literature on motorcycle safety in Iran, have been done. The results showed that although a positive attitude towards the use of helmets by motorcyclists there, but the rate of helmet use among motorcyclists our country is very low.
