The impact of Deobandi Ulema on Salafi movement

The main question of the paper is how the Deobandi Ulema impacted on Salafi movement in the present era. The hypothesis is that, during the British colonial period and after the defeat of the Muslim's revolution in India in 1857, the relationship between major Deobandi Ulema in the Indian peninsula and the Ulema in Mecca and Medina resulted in impacts such as scientific exploitation in academic centers, reduction of ideological extremism and scientific arrogance of the Salafis, dissemination of Sufism and mysticism in Mecca and Medina, activity permission to Tablighi Jamaat and other cases like memorization and recitation of the Quran, admission of professors in universities and religious centers like Friday and Mass Prayer, mosques, free accommodation for Deobandi Ulema, free hajj permits.
