Patriotism in the Poetry of Holy Defense

Abstract:
Hometown is as one of the identity maker components in each nation so it is important to defense and preserve it. in the Persian poem patiotic is of special appearance and each time the hometown attacked by the enemies the poets have began to compose a poem in describing it. By beginning of the imposed war the country was attacked by Iraq regime and the boundary cities were violiated by the enenmy. The poets don’t bear these bitter events and by composing poem defense it. Dealing with the hometown poems of this period can help much to reinforce people patiotic sense and are effective in keeping the national identity.
In this article occurred by library method it is tried to examine the concept of the hometown in the holy defense poets poem and then by bringing some poetical example prove that the poets exploited the hometown concept in their poems. by doing this research it becomes clear that the hometown concept is posed as one of the main subject in the holy defense poets poem and the poets invited all to patiotic and defense to the hometown. The hometown concept in this age emerges in Islamic home from and the poets compose the hometown poems based on the Islamic principals.
