Citation analysis and co-authorship in the field of Quranic sciences researchers in " Web of Science" Database and mapping the scientific structure of this discipline between the 1993-2012 years

Abstract:
The purpose the present is the citation and co-authorship analysis of the Islam and Quranic science researchers in web of science database and mapping the scientific structure of this domain between years of 19932012.
This research is applying and we use scientometric methods and some rules and procedures related to this domain,. HistCite software was utilized to mapping the structure of science, and considering of Ucinet software and its supplement package NetDraw the results showed that in this time interval,
The researchers of this field succeeded to produce 4535 records. Frequency distribution of the participation of the authors of this domain follows from Lotka rule, but objective frequency distribution of the core documents produced by the authors of this field was not confirmed by Bradfords rule. Also, this domain had the average growth rate of 6.4% and at the end. The scientific structure of this domain on the base of the rate of local citations and also global citations was considered and mapped by using of HistCite software.
The results suggest that this domain composed of 9 clusters on the base of local and global citations,. The results show that the co-authorship of this field is weak. Citation analysis of the documents under consideration show that there is a positive Co-relation between the number of authors and the number of received citations and also the collaboration rate of an author have a positive relation with the number of documents published by that author.
