Importance of Time and its Management from Imam Ali's Point of View

Time management is a novel managerial method which emphasizes on effective utilization of time and programming of the related affairs for the purpose of controlling the time and on-time performance of activities. The principles of this method are based on determination of objectives simultaneous with decisive decision makings, prioritization of affairs, programming, coordination and supervision. This whole process includes using opportunities and preventing waste of time. Considering the comprehensiveness of Islam which includes coordinated and goal-oriented teachings for all eras and the belief that Islam present life styles in all aspects, we have therefore tried to present a conceptual model to describe time management and its components while reviewing the related literature and at the same time we have tried to discuss about the selective statement of Imam Ali which emphasizes on management of affairs with time management approach in order to introduce the principles of this novel management approach by searching through Islamic trainings and teachings.
