Collating Lakish Calendar against other Ancient Iran Calendars

Abstract:
The study is based on a mixed method of archival and fieldwork with an analysing and descriptive approach. During the history time division has been based on rituals and ethic beliefs and often according to geographical locations. Thus, in Arab countries due to approximate uniformity of the seasons, people have chosen a lunar, and in Persian regions people have chosen solar calendar. However, what is important is durability of the calendar, which has to be based on the exact repetition of time in the exact period of the seasons and months and days. Therefore, according to this and based on reviewing all the popular calendars in Iran since the beginning up until now , "MITRAEE" calendar is much more reasonable than other calendars which its undisputed heir is "LAKI" calendar.
