Sensual Transmutation and The Sexual

The sexual desire is like a conflict in human life; a conflict composed of instinct, culture, religion and the other aspects of human life. There is a tendency in each of these aspects to define and respond the so called conflict. But there is no way to choose only one of them. The place of sexual desires in human life is usually unclear and it seems that human being cannot deal with it. During history, this powerful desire was the subject of diverse definitions, confrontations and suppressions, including different facts regarding the context. But it was also the main drive of human beings in his life. This desire can afford us with light or rather throw us to dark sides of the life. The confrontation of sensation and “the sexual” is a controversial issue in human life. What this essay is looking after is an existential, anthropological and biological psychology in a confrontation between sensation and “The Sexual”.
