Abstract:

This article is a comparative review on Besmellet: aI-Rahman aI-Rahim "In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful" in Quran, Bible and Torah; in which, it is concluded that from an historical perspective, this verse, with this form, is only in Quran; and, in other scriptures, like Bible and Torah, each word simply begun with God's title, without Besmellah ... (in the name of ... ).
