Measuring the Degree of Development of the Towns of Kerman Province, in terms of Development Indicators Using SAW

In order to strengthen the foundations of development and the removal and adjustment of imbalances and economic, social and cultural problems of many communities, it is needed to plan and identify their actual and potential resources more than ever. Therefore, using the SAW, the aim of this study was to assess the degree of development of the towns of Kerman province, in terms of infrastructure, health and cultural welfare indicators. The research method is descriptive - analytical. In this study, 29 variables in the health, welfare-infrastructure, and culture are used. Data was collected based on library-research method, using the statistical yearbook, and the results of the census carried out in 1390 in Kerman. The results showed that the highest levels of development, in all three sectors − health, welfare, and cultural infrastructure belong to the city of Kerman, and the least developed level in the health sector belongs to Orzuiyeh, in the welfare sector is owned by the city of Faryab, and in the cultural sector belongs to the city of Fahraj. Also, in the health sector 13, 04% of the cities are developed, 73. 91 % of cities are developing, and 13. 04% of them are underdeveloped. In the welfare-infrastructure sector, 21. 73 % of cities are developed, 52. 17 % of cities are developing, and 26. 08% of cities are underdeveloped. In the cultural sector, 8. 69 % of the cities are developed and 91. 30 % of cities are developing.
