The Analysis of social security from the perspective of local history (A case study of local history of Kerman in the Seljuk era)

Undoubtedly,theexpression of social structures, social actionpractices and social security status of provinces and also providing arelatively homogeneous proportion between space (culture) and time (historical period), are the main features of a local historiography. These distinctive elements give the author of local history, a kind of selfreflection and historical knowledge. A local historian, by avoiding the mere expression of political history, has sought to distance himself from politics and power.Although many Western scholars and researchers, such as Ludovico Antonio Muratori, considered nationalism as a real revival of historiography in Italy, Germany and other European countries, the love for birthplace andexpressing its Social Situation are regarded as undeniable characteristics of the local history of Iran since the far past. This article applied an analytical method to, firstly, introduce the local historiography and its strengths and secondly, explain and analyze the position of social security or insecurity in some of the local histories of Kerman. So, the central question of this paper was that: Did the local histories of Kerman have a methodical manner to demonstrate social security or insecurity in this state during the Seljuk era.
